New IGP assuming duties...

Priyantha Weerasooriya assumed duties as the 37th Inspector General of Police of Sri Lanka at the Police Headquarters in Colombo on Thursday (14). He was ceremonially accorded a guard of honour upon arriving at the Sri Lanka Police HQ and later participated in religious observances.
