Pictured above is an 8.5 feet long python found in a residential area in the hillside of Akurana, Kandy last night. The python molurus, a nonvenomous python species found in many tropic and subtropic areas of Southern and Southeast Asia, was photographed by an Ada Derana viewer. (Pic by Nazri Farook)
