D.S. Senanayake’s grandson UNP stalwart Rukman Senanayake passes away

The grandson of Sri Lanka’s first Prime Minister D.S. Senanayake and United National Party (UNP) stalwart, Rukman Senanayake, has passed away today (24), family sources confirmed.

He was 76 years of age at the time of passing.

Rukman Senanayake had served as Cabinet Minister of Environment and Natural Resources from 2002 to 2004 and as a Member of Parliament for Kegalle District. He was a Vice Leader of the United National Party.
