VIDEO: Fire at Lankaenews office

A fire was reported at the office premises of the Lankaenews website early today morning, Talangama Police confirmed. The fire which broke out at around 2am was brought under control however all the computers had been destroyed and extensive damage is reported.


It is reported that the doors to the office situated at Malabe, Yahan Mawath, No.844 appear to have been broken down before the fire started. Police have launched an inquiry and sniffer dogs will be used to carry out further investigations, Police said.
