Ratnapura registers highest temperate while Nuwara Eliya remains below 20 °C

Ratnapura recorded the highest temperature in the island today with 33.1 °C.

This was registered at the Ratnapura Meteorological Station, the Department of Meteorology noted.

Meanwhile, the lowest temperature of 19.8 °C was recorded at the Nuwara Eliya Meteorological Station.
