Aswesuma Jan. allowance to be credited to beneficiaries’ accounts tomorrow

The January allowance for beneficiaries who qualified for the first and second phases of the Aswesuma program, as well as the January elderly allowance applicable under both phases, will be deposited into the bank accounts of the beneficiaries, tomorrow (28), the Ministry of Finance has announced.

Accordingly, for the first phase of the program, a total of Rs. 11.23 billion million will be distributed among 1,415,584 beneficiary families and deposited into their bank accounts, the Ministry added.

The January senior citizen allowance for the first phase will be distributed among 618,440 beneficiaries. A sum of Rs. 3 billion has been allocated, the Ministry stated.

For the second phase of the Aswesuma program, the January allowance will be distributed among 248,454 beneficiary families and deposited into their bank accounts.

The January senior citizen allowance for the second phase will be distributed among 68,183 beneficiaries and deposited into their assistance accounts, the Ministry of Finance noted.
