Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa extended his warm wishes to Muslims in Sri Lanka and around the world, celebrating Eid-ul-Fitr festival.

“May the crescent moon rising in the western sky spread the first light of peace across the world, may the flames of war be extinguished and the world be healed with love, may such a blessed day dawn upon us,” he said in a statement.

“Wish you all a Happy Eid-Ul-Fitr,” Premadasa added.
