Nationwide retail inspections to begin Monday ahead of festive season

The Public Health Inspectors’ (PHI) Union has announced that island-wide inspections of retail outlets will commence this coming Monday (23) in preparation for the upcoming festive season.

The Secretary of the Union, Chamil Muthukuda stated that more than 2,000 Public Health Inspectors will be deployed across the country to carry out these regulatory inspections.
