Proposal submitted to PUCSL to increase electricity tariffs

A proposal has been submitted to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) to increase electricity tariffs.

Accordingly, the National System Operator (Pvt) Ltd. has submitted its revised electricity cost estimate to the PUCSL to increase electricity tariffs for the second quarter of this year.

The revised electricity cost estimate has been submitted based on the recent fuel price increase.
