Suspects held with 3 ancient Buddha statues

Three suspects have been arrested with three ancient Buddha statues of great historical value today (15) at Hathagala Junction in Hungama.

The arrested suspects, residents of Hungama and Lunama, are to be produced before the Angunakolapelessa Magistrate’s Court later today.

Hungama Police is conducting investigations into the theft of the Buddha statues.
