Bus topples in Mihinthalaya injuring 18

Eighteen persons were injured after a private bus, transporting the passengers to a funeral, veered off the road and toppled in the Mihinthalaya area today.
The injured were rushed to the Mihinthalaya Hospital following the accident while five critical patients were later transferred to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for further treatment.
Mihinthalaya Police is conducting an investigation into the incident.
