SLFP Mahiyangana Organizer resigns

Uva Provincial Minister Anura Vidanagamage has resigned from the post of Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) Organizer for Mahiyangana electorate.
The Uva Province minister of Agriculture, Agrarian Development, Livestock Development, Inland Fisheries, Environment, and Tourism said he handed over his resignations to the SLFP’s Badulla District leader, Minister Nimal Siripala de Silva.
Vidanagamage stated that the reason for his resignation was due to certain SLFP members engaging in party activities within the Mahiyangana electorate without notifying him.
The Provicnial Minister further stated that he intends to take up the matter with President Mahinda Rajapaksa in future.
