A train delay is reported on the Colombo-Kandy track due to a public protest blocking the railway track at the Walpola station near Ragama, the Sri Lanka Railways stated.
A group of residents of Walpola are engaging in a protest against the construction of the Northern Expressway, Ada Derana reporter said.
He stated that the protest was organized due to the construction of the expressway being carried out after alleged changes made to the initial plans.
