The Government has taken loans at exorbitant rates and transferred the burden to the people, UNP MP Gayantha Karunathilake said today. He added that due to the new tax on telecommunication people are unable to even say ‘hello’ to some to convey the burden.
The budget has become a tax statement and the government has reduced the allocation for health and increased the one for Mihin Air, Gayantha charged.
