60,000 Buddhist flags with wrong color order seized

The Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) has seized around 60,000 Buddhist flags printed incorrectly from several shops at the People’s Park Shopping Complex in Pettah today, a CAA spokesman said.

He stated that the color sequence of the Buddhist flags were incorrect and that further inquiries are been carried out regarding the manufacturer and distributers of the flags.

He further said that the CAA will decide on proceeding with legal action after gathering more information on the matter.
