Presidential Election: Ranil to contest from UNP

United National Party (UNP) Deputy Leader Sajith Premadasa said that party leader Ranil Wickramasinghe will contest for the Presidential election, next year.

The observation was made during a meeting held in Colombo, this morning.

Premadasa said that the UNP has already made the decision to present Ranil Wickremesinghe as their candidate for the upcoming Presidential election, and to defeat the corrupted ruling party in a bid to re-establish the lost democracy in the country.
