Water levels of Kalu, Nilwala and Gin Rivers on the rise

The Disaster Management Center (DMC) has requested people living in low levels areas of Kalu, Nilwala and Gin river banks to remain cautious due to the rising water levels of those rivers. 

The DMC said that due to prevailing rainy weather conditions the water level of the Kalu RIver has risen in Ratnapura and Nilla areas, the Gin River has risen in Thawalama while the Nilwala River water level has risen in Pitabeddara.
