One injured, one killed in train accident in Kandy

A woman was killed and another hospitalised after being hit by a train at the railway crossing in Kandy town, Ada Derana reporter said.
The incident occurred a short while ago on Monday afternoon.
The injured person has been admitted to the Kandy Hospital for treatments. The remains of the deceased are also kept at the same hospital pending autopsy.
