Road to Galle Face closed due to protest

Entry road to Galle Face from Lotus Roundabout closed due to a protest by disabled tri-forces and police pensioners, the Ada Derana reporter confirmed.
Disabled soldiers and army officers are protesting against the current army pension procedure, Ada Derana reporter added. They also staged a fast in front of the Fort Railway Station on July 25 over the issue.
The police have requested motorists to use alternative routes.
