Global Sri Lankan Forum protests in front of UN office

The Global Sri Lankan Forum organized a protest against the UN war crimes allegations against Sri Lankan war heroes in front of the United Nations office in Geneva, Switzerland yesterday (24th).

Members of the Global Sri Lankan Forum from Switzerland, Italy, Australia, England, Kuwait, and Australia participated in this event.

A letter was also handed over to the UN Secretary General by Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera, Dr. Nalaka Godahewa and co-chairman of the Global Sri Lankan Forum, Wasantha Keerthiratne, alleging that U.N. Human Rights Commissioner Prince Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein was acting beyond the scope of his mandate.
