Port authority act to be amended – Mangala

Minister of Finance and Media in his address today stated that the Port authority act needs to be amended to cater to the modern day logistics and shipping activities to better position Sri Lanka as a maritime hub in Asia. 

He also stated that the centre for Robotics will be bolstered to better equip the erudite minds of Sri Lanka and provide superior technology to the people. Furthermore, Minister Samarweera stated that loans will be granted to SME industries without the requirement of guarantors.
