MP Bandula Gunawardena stated that Sri Lanka has transformed into one of the riskiest countries in the world for global investors.

He stated that the political instability and economic regression has been clearly documented through the Bloomberg index compiled using the financial markers of all nations.

MP Gunawardena expressed these sentiments while addressing a press conference of the Joint Opposition in Colombo today (19).

He further went on to state that Sri Lanka has never fallen as low as its current position on the Bloomberg index at any point in history.
