JVP propaganda material destroyed on New Year’s day

The Dambulla police reported that several cut-outs and posters of the JVP had been mutilated and burnt by a group of unidentified persons in Athuparaya last night (31).

A complaint was lodged by JVP representatives from Dambulla who suspect that the crime was committed by their political rivals. 

Officials from the Dambulla police stated that further investigations will be conducted into the incident.
