Three persons drown in Mawak Oya and Mahaweli River

Two persons have reportedly drowned in the Mawak Oya at Ingiriya today (8), the Police Spokesman said.
He said that both drowning victims are youths aged 21 years and that they were bathing in the river when they had drowned.
Meanwhile another individuals has drowned in the Mahawelia River at Nawalapitiya.
Police are conducting further investigations.
