Sajith Premadasa is our symbol - Sujeewa

MP Sujeewa Senasinghe says that he is ready to work with Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa through the new alliance, in order to change the traditional system that led to 26 years of defeat for the United National Party (UNP).

He mentioned this speaking to media in Colombo, today (01).

Senasinghe says that his group including Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa is ready for everything.

The people in the country call for a change in the existing system and he is prepared to give that change, said the UNP parliamentarian.

Further, Party Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe is requested to allow Sajith Premadasa to lead and carry out future endeavors, says Senasinghe.

Stating that both ‘Elephant’ and ‘Swan’ symbol will not be used by the alliance for the upcoming election, the MP said that Sajith Premadasa is their symbol.
