Former parliamentarians’ meeting today

Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa has called a meeting of all former parliamentarians today (04).

The meeting is set to discuss the current situation in the country, said Prime Minister’s Office.

Accordingly, the participants are requested to be present at the Temple Trees at 10 am this morning.

However, several major political parties have already informed that they will not be attending the meeting.

The United National Party, Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna, and the Tamil National Alliance have decided to boycott the meeting by the Prime Minister.
