George Steuart & Co donates Rs 22 mn to repatriate Sri Lankans in Dubai

George Steuart & Company Limited made a contribution of Rs 22 million to support the government’s efforts of repatriating Sri Lankans stranded overseas due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

The relevant cheque was handed over to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa by Chairman of the Group Dilith Jayaweera at the Presidential Secretariat this evening (06).

The donation was specifically made to cover up the expenses made to repatriate Sri Lankans stranded in Dubai.
