Close accomplice of ‘Podi Lassie’ arrested

An individual has been arrested in Ahungalla by the Special Task Force (STF) over the possession of a firearm.
The arrest has been made at the Ampe Road in Pathegama, Ahungalla.
The arrested suspect has been identified to be a close accomplice of the notorious underworld figure and drug trafficker ‘Podi Lassie’.
The STF has seized a firearm, and a mobile phone from the possession of the suspect, along with two number plates believed to be from a car.
