Covid-19: 293 more patients make complete recoveries

The Ministry of Health confirmed that 293 more individuals who were diagnosed with Covid-19 were discharged from medical care upon returning to health.

According to the situation report, the following hospitals have reported the latest recoveries:

Lunawa District Hospital – 10
Divulapitiya District Hospital – 01
Pimbura District Hospital – 06
Karadiyanaru District Hospital – 18
Radawana District Hospital – 01
Padiyathalawa District Hospital – 01
Palamunai District Hospital – 02
Narammala District Hospital – 01
Gallela Treatment Centre – 19
Kahawatte Treatment Centre – 11
Watupitiwela Treatment Centre – 08

The new development has brought the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 11,324.

Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 16,191. The Epidemiology Unit says 4,814 of them are still under medical care.
