Covid-19 recoveries in Sri Lanka surpass 12,000 mark

The total number of coronavirus recoveries reported in the country crossed the 12,000 milestone today (17) as 404 individuals infected with Covid-19 were discharged from medical care upon returning to health.
According to the situation report, the following hospitals have reported the latest recoveries:

The new development brings the total number of novel coronavirus recoveries reported in the country to 12,210.
Sri Lanka’s confirmed cases court meanwhile stands at 17,674. The Epidemiology Unit says 5,403 of them are still under medical care.
