Customs seize Rs. 300 million worth of goods illegally imported from Dubai

Sri Lanka Customs has intercepted a container with illegally-imported goods from Dubai to the tune of Rs. 300 million.

According to reports, Rs. 200 million worth of cosmetics, parts to assemble three vehicles, liquor bottles and cigarettes were inside the impounded container.

The items had been declared to Customs as vehicle spare parts for the importation process.
