‘Isolez Biotech Pharma’ no longer a medicine supplier to SL?

Measures are reportedly underway to suspend and cancel all medicine supplying orders given to the firm ‘Isolez Biotech Pharma’, as per a directive from Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella.

Accordingly, all relevant officials have been informed to stop any ongoing payments to the medicine supplier, with immediate effect, until the Criminal Investigation Department’s (CID) investigations have concluded.

The relevant decision was taken against the medicine supplier, albeit their efforts to solve Sri Lanka’s medicine shortage, in view of recent issues, Ada Derana learns.
