SJB’s Kurunegala District Organizer busted with drugs

A district organizer of Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) has been arrested during a drug operation.
Accordingly, the main opposition has decided to suspend the party membership of its Kurunegala District Organizer, Amitha Bandara following his arrest. He was also stripped of his position as the district organizer.
Bandara was arrested on Thursday (Dec.21) while in possession of narcotics.
In a press release, SJB’s General Secretary Ranjith Madduma Bandara said a final decision would be taken at the party’s Working Committee meeting today (Dec.22).
