Fire breaks out at building in Armour Street

A fire has reportedly broken out in a store selling hardware and home decor items at Green Lane in Armour Street, Colombo.

All the items which were stored within the building have reportedly been destroyed by the fire that broke out at around 8.30 am this morning (26), Ada Derana reporter said.

The Colombo Fire Brigade had taken steps to extinguish the flames with the help of four fire engines.

However, no individuals were injured in the incident as the store was closed at the time.

Armour Street Police are conducting further investigations regarding the incident.
