President Ranil arrives in Uganda for 19th NAM summit

President Ranil Wickremesinghe arrived in Kampala, Uganda, a short while ago, the President’s Media Division (PMD) reported.

The Head of State is on an official visit to Uganda to attend the 19th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit, and the 3rd South Summit of the Group of 77 and China.

The President’s visit to Uganda comes on the heels of his 12-day visit to Switzerland, during which he attended the 54th Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum which took place from 15 – 19 January in the Swiss town of Davos.
