Paint factory in Panadura gutted in fire

A paint manufacturing factory in the Samagi Mawatha area of Panadura has been completely destroyed after a massive fire ripped through the facility last night (Feb. 29).

The firefighting unit of the Moratuwa Municipal Council had taken steps to bring the raging flames under control.

However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

The damage caused by the fire has not yet been assessed and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
