15 injured as two buses collide head-on

At least 15 individuals have been injured and hospitalised following a head-on collision involving a passenger bus attached to the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) and a private bus on the Colombo-Kandy main road this morning (July 01).

The accident took place in the Weweldeniya area on the Colombo-Kandy main road, Ada Derana reporter said.

The injured individuals have been admitted to Wathupitiwala and Warakapola hospitals for treatment.
