AKD secures win in Balapitiya polling division

The results of the Balapitiya polling division in Galle District for the 2024 Presidential Election have been released by the Election Commission.
National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has topped the Balapitiya polling division securing 20,096 votes.
Anura Kumara Dissanayake – 20,096 (49.23%)
Sajith Premadasa - 12,339 (30.23%)
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 5,345 (13.09%)
Namal Rajapaksa – 1,689 (4.14%)
Dilith Jayaweera - 403 (0.99%)
