Results of Galagedara and Mulkirigala polling divisions

The results of the Galagedara polling division in Kandy District for the 2024 Presidential Election have been released by the Election Commission.

National People’s Power (NPP) candidate Anura Kumara Dissanayake has received the highest number of votes in the Beliatta polling division with a total of 18,232 votes.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake –  18,232 (42.8%)
Sajith Premadasa -  15,568 (36.54%) 
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 5,982 (14.04%)
Namal Rajapaksa – 1,224 (2.87%)
Dilith Jayaweera - 386 (0.91%)

Meanwhile, Anura Kumara has also secured victory in the Mulkirigala polling division in Hambantota District with 41,086 votes.

Anura Kumara Dissanayake –  41,086 (47.48%)
Sajith Premadasa -  26,614 (30.76%) 
Ranil Wickremesinghe – 9,192 (10.62%)
Namal Rajapaksa – 6,250 (7.22%)
Dilith Jayaweera - 841(0.97%)
