Colombo District final results: NPP secures 14 seats, SJB wins 4

The Election Commission of Sri Lanka has released the final results of the Colombo District in the 2024 General Election with the National People’s Power (NPP) polling more than 68% of the total votes in the district. 

NPP has polled 788,636 votes to win the district while the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) is second with 208,249 votes (18.12%).

The NPP has secured 14 seats in the district while the SJB has won 4 seats in the district. 

National People’s Power (NPP) – 788,636 (14 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 208,249 (4 seats)
New Democratic Front (NDF) – 51,020
Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) – 34,880
‘Sarvajana Balaya’ (SRJB) – 24,746
