National Police Commission cancels transfer of Bingiriya OIC

The National Police Commission has cancelled the transfer of the Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Bingiriya Police Station by the Acting IGP, with immediate effect. 

The commission says the transfer has been ordered by the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasuriya without the approval of the National Police Commission and the Elections Commission.
