The National People’s Power has won the Weligama Urban Council of the Matara District.
National People’s Power (NPP) – 5,318 (9 seats)
Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) – 2,371 (3 seats)
Independent Group 01 – 1,960 (3 seats)
Independent Group 02 – 1,577 (3 seats)
United National Party (UNP) – 411 (1 seat)
