Arijit Singh to become first Indian artist to headline UK Stadium

May 28, 2025   02:01 pm

Singer Arijit Singh is all set to make history as the first Indian artist to headline a UK stadium, with a live show scheduled for September 5, 2025, at London’s iconic Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. This landmark performance will be Arijit’s only European date this year, making it one of the most anticipated concerts.

The announcement has sent waves of excitement among fans, as Singh’s last UK performance — a sold-out show at London’s O2 Arena in 2024 — drew massive attention, especially with the surprise gig with British pop sensation Ed Sheeran.

Arijit Singh’s upcoming London show coincides with his ongoing dominance on global music charts. According to Live Nation, Arijit Singh is currently the most followed artist on Spotify worldwide, boasting over 140 million followers. Remarkably, he is the first non-English-singing artist to achieve this feat, surpassing global icons like Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, and Ariana Grande.

As reported by Secret London, he has also confirmed his collaboration on Ed Sheeran’s next single, Sapphire, which is expected to draw even more international attention to the Indian music star.

Ticket Sale Details and Fan Reactions

General sale tickets for Singh’s historic concert will go live at midday on Friday, June 6, 2025.

Reflecting on the milestone, the singer shared in a statement to the media, “I’m just an ordinary person who happens to sing, and I’m incredibly humbled that I have the opportunity to share my songs and perform in London again. If that means I make history, then I will be very blessed.”
