Anudi sets new benchmark for Sri Lanka at Miss World despite missing out on Top 40

Sri Lanka’s representative at the 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant, Anudi Gunasekara, has concluded her journey at the prestigious international event without advancing to the Top 40 quarterfinalists, as announced during the grand finale held at the HITEX Convention Centre in Hyderabad, India, today (31).
While she did not move forward in the final stages of the competition, Gunasekara’s participation has been widely regarded as one of the most impactful representations by a Sri Lankan delegate in recent history.
