Several senior police officers transferred due to service requirement

Transfers have been granted to a group of senior police officers with the approval of the National Police Commission.

According to the Office of the Police Media Spokesman, transfers were made based on service requirements by Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasooriya.

Among those transfers issued are four Superintendents of Police (SSPs), four Superintendents of Police (SPs), and 25 Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs), the Office of the Police Media Spokesman stated.
