Island-wide postal strike enters day six

The strike launched by postal workers will continue for the sixth consecutive day today (23).

Chinthaka Bandara, the co-convener of the United Postal Trade Union Front stated that legal action will be taken regarding the unauthorised removal of mailbags stored at the Central Mail Exchange.

The trade union action was launched on Sunday (17), over 19 demands.
