Thalawa Bus Accident: One dead, nearly 40 injured

An individual has been confirmed to have died while about 40 others have been injured in the bus accident reported in Thalawa, Anuradhapura, police stated.

According to Ada Derana correspondents, the bus had been carrying more than 40 passengers at the time of the accident.

Those injured in the accident are still being transported to hospitals.

The private bus that met with the accident had been traveling from Thalawa to the ‘411 village’.
