Indian national arrested with stock of illegally imported cigarettes at BIA

A group police officers at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) have arrested a 56-year-old Indian national while in possession of 2,400 illegally imported cigarettes.
The arrest followed information received by a team of officers at the airport police station.
Further investigations into the incident are being conducted by the airport police.
