Fire breaks out in a shop at Dewata Junction in Galle

A fire has broken out at a scrap metal collection shop at the Dewata Junction in Galle.

Three fire engines have been deployed to bring the fire under control.

The incident has caused heavy traffic congestion along the Galle–Matara main road, police stated.
