Ex-President Gotabaya leaves Bribery Commission after recording statement

Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning to provide a statement in connection with an ongoing investigation, said Ada Derana reporter.

He had arrived at the Commission premises at around 9:00 a.m. today (17) followed a summons issued by the Bribery Commission.

After providing a statement for nearly two and a half hours, the former President departed from the premises.
